In the spirit of the Wiener Werkstätte

In the years leading up to the First World War, the Wiener Werkstätte developed new knotting techniques that suddenly made it possible to attach glass balls to sumptuous necklaces, ear jewellery, scarves and bags. In the 1990s, as more modern polishing techniques began to emerge, we also began using the new and more refined technology to process real precious stones into very special pieces of jewellery that live and breathe the spirit of the Viennese design tradition.

The ladybird

We gave this new Collection the name “Coccinella”, because the first piece reminded us of a ladybird (Coccinella being the Italian word for the tiny, iconic insect). In accordance with our long tradition of creating jewellery that can be combined in a variety of different ways to fit your mood and the occasion, we developed the earrings in this Collection to feature changeable hooked parts.
